StartFeb 19
EndFeb 19
Jeremy Wyatt (WI), Amanda Blatch-Jones (RoR ) and Jonathan Shepherd (SHTAC) are presenting an Explorer Session entitled ‘Can digital tools improve the way we recruit and retain participants in trials?’ on February 19th in Alpha House Conference Room from 14:30 – 16:00  They will be sharing with you their knowledge on identifying, informing and recruiting the right participants for trials and the continuing challenges of retaining them. They will discuss the wide variety of digital tools such as database searches, on-screen recruitment prompts, patient websites, social media, appointment reminder texts and apps that have been tried out to improve recruitment and retention, with further discussion on how it is unclear which of the tools are acceptable and work well. They will be pleased to share with you the results of their 1 year project which is designed to answer this question, supported by Southampton & Bristol Clinical Trials Units and the NIHR Efficient Studies programme. They will be keen to seek the views of Explorer Session participants on these tools and on possible options for implementing the findings, and help them to consider the potential implications for their work.   It is anticipated that the Explorer session will be of most interest to the NETSCC ID&P, A&F and Monitoring teams and staff supporting the Wales & INVOLVE contracts, but others are very welcome to participate.

The Big ASK Tour
StartFeb 20
EndFeb 20
2019 Is The Time To Get Your "ASK" Together!     There is a pandemic going around... · Mediocrity from settling for "just enough" of asking for more · Self-sabotage from settling · Displaced frustration from emotional baggage · Overwhelm from a hidden voice · Guilt that has covered our brilliance · and potential, passions and power We are often bold enough to say what we don't want, yet we hide from speaking out about what we do want or feel we deserve. We are working harder, securing the bag, slaying and praying, standing prideful in "getting the job done" but we are lacking the fulfillment and the energy that comes with actually leveling up in our personal or professional lives. What will it take for us to speak our truth and stand in our power in 2019?   This is why The Big ASK was created. I am so thrilled to invite you to this LIVE event. The Big ASK tour will showcase and celebrate the art of manifestation. The LIVE tours are invigorating moving, powerful and activating. This is not your average book signing and book review discussion. Lucinda Cross will bring The Big ASK to life for all who participates. WHAT TO EXPECT Get ready to expect an experience that will consist of three phases to equip you with the tools to support you in receiving everything you desire and deserve. The Big ASK tour will create a sacred space for sisterhood, brotherhood, emotional releases, and spiritual heights as well as profound breakthroughs. PHASE ONE: RECONNECTION PHASE TWO: TAP INTO YOUR MAGIC SPOT PHASE THREE: RADICAL TRANSFORMATION     The Big ASK tour extends beyond the live gathering. In fact, the real work begins as you implement what you learned as well as what you will read throughout the book. We have incorporated an online community to support you in being held accountable in your Big ASK as well as a network to of like-minded individuals who are ready to cheer you on and celebrate your wins. Join Lucinda Cross LIVE in a city near you ABOUT THE BIG ASK In today's society, women are blazing trails by being the first to do what people said they couldn't do. We've become CEOs in male-dominated fields, Politicians like the first woman Mayor of San Francisco, and we continue to break records. However, there are still a significant number of women who are hidden talents merely because they're not asking for what they want. My entrepreneurial journey has been built on me asking for what I want, what I deserve, and I am on a mission to activate other women to do the same. An actionable and easily implementable book, The Big ASK gives you 21 strategies to break through your brick wall of limitation and turn it into a window. So that you open yourself up to receive more, share more, and live a life of abundance.

Kangaroo Experience with granola feeding
StartFeb 21
EndFeb 21
Spend 30 minutes face to face learning and interacting with Red Kangaroos. This experience includes: feeding the kangaroos treats (granola), time to take individual photos, learn about the kangaroos and marsupials from our "Zoo Crew", and learning about the missions of Zoo Chateau. The interaction will be 30 minutes and the time will start as soon as the liability waivers are signed and we have entered the kangaroo enclosure.  Please note that this interaction is not the best environment for children under 3 years old. If parents would like to have their children that are under 3 participate, please ensure that there is an adequate number of adults to trade off holding or watching the kids as the kangaroos can react to crying and sudden movements. This is to make sure that you and our other guests get the most out of the interaction with our animals. All children will need a ticket reguardless of age due to limited ticket availability and limited space in the barn.  Guests should be comfortable around all types of animals. As a disclaimer: cats live on the property and occasionally dogs will also be present on the property. The itinerary for the Kangaroo experience will include: - Safety orientation on how to interact with the kangaroos (including signing release of liability) - If the roos are inside, two guests at a time will get the opportunity to go into the enclosure to feed the kangaroos and take photos as well as pet the roos. If they are outside, the group will go out into the enclosure and get the chance to individually feed and interact with and take photos with the roos.-The Zoo Crew Representative will give information about Bindi and Rooney, and kangaroos in general, and guests may ask any questions that they have- Meanwhile, the rest of the group will be watching and will be able to take photos from the viewing area (or within the enclosure) while they await their turn, or after the conclusion of their turn DISCLAIMER: Here at Zoo Chateau, our first priority is our animal and guest safety. If for some reason we feel that it is not in the best interest of the kangaroos or the guests, we reserve the right to cancel. In the event that Zoo Chateau cancels an interaction, guests will receive a voucher for a future date.  Please arrive on time as we will begin promptly. Entry may be refused to guests who arrive after the intended start time.   FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a PAYING legal guardian or adult assuming responsibility. Waivers/release of liability must be signed as soon as you enter the property, therefore minors CANNOT participate in this experience on their own. Since this is a legal document, ID may be required to be presented. This will be strictly enforced.  Can someone come observe and not participate for no charge? No. Due to the limited amount of space and our intimate experience with our animals, unfortunately we cannot allow for people to just observe. Please email us directly if you have additional questions about this.   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? As for transportation, personal vehicles and Uber or Lyft are the best options. It is the first property passed the gate so it is easy to locate.  What can I bring into the event? We encourage you to bring a camera or phone for taking photos (no flash photography), clothes that can get dirty, and closed-toed shoes. Zoo Chateau shall not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or ruined personal items while you are participating in the interactions or while presiding on the property.   How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Please email zoochateau@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.  What's the refund policy? A full refund will be given if it is at least 7 days before the event. If it is after the 7 day mark, in special circumstances we may be able to reschedule but this is not guarateed due to the high demand of these interactions.   Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Please have proof of ticket purchase when you arrive. This can be in the form of a ticket or just confirmation of payment and may be electronic or printed.    Can I update my registration information? Yes, you are able to update your registration information.   Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Your ticket can be purchased by or given to anyone. However, any additional email confirmation and information will go to the person who purchased the ticket. If you do sell or give your ticket to someone else, please ensure that they reach out to zoochateau@gmail.com in order to get thier confirmation email.   Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes, we encourage you to purchase tickets for friends and family. However, if you give a ticket to someone else, please ensure that they reach out to zoochateau@gmail.com in order to get thier confirmation email since email confirmation will go to the person who purchased the email.
